Before feed into Rotary Drum Thickener (RDT Series), sludge should be mixed with flocculant until separates sludge and water in mixing tank, then liquid sludge will be convey to the Rotary Drum Thickener.
While sludge falls in and adhere to rotary cloth, Rotary Drum will separate free water from liquid sluge by whirling with centrifugal force. After decrease of free water and increase of sludge concentration, sludge accumulated more and more and squeeze out from outfall.
The concentration of outlet sludge range is 4-8% (might be different with sludge type and inlet s.s.)
